Hammer Builders provides an invaluable service during the planning phase of any project. We design and build energy efficient functional homes in a manner that is environmentally responsible and at a very competitive price.

In addition to new home construction, Hammer Builders provides general contracting for many remodeling/addition projects -- from finishing living space in your basement, to gutting and redesigning your kitchen, to converting that great old Victorian to office space. We also provide design services for remodeling projects.

We feel that builder involvement is so important during the planning phase of any project that we are willing to provide consulting services during the planning phase even if we are not awarded the project. During the planning phase we provide expertise on site design and home plan design. We will help you select a building site and/or provide advice for placement of your home on an existing site, taking into account passive solar positioning and all of the other components to be incorporated into your home/site. We will advise you on costs of various building features and help you spend your dollars wisely as you plan your dream home.

We also provide consulting services for most new construction and remodeling/addition projects. This consulting package includes guidance from design to finish, assistance in comparing bids from subcontractors and suppliers, unlimited phone and email assistance throughout the entire project, step-by-step instructions in an easy-to-follow format, onsite visits, schedule and timelines to help you manage your project, sample contract templates and other forms to use, and assistance in finding and working with subcontractors.

We are not limited to single-family residential construction. We build duplexes, multi-family buildings, and light commercial buildings (retail and office buildings, warehouses, service stations, etc.).
