Q: How long does it take to build
a house?
A: This varies depending on the size of
the house and the features going into the house.
A 1,400 sq ft ranch style home with standard “Hammer
Builders” specifications and features will take 90 to 120 days depending on
weather and/or material delays.
On the other hand, a 2,600 sq ft 2-story custom home with
special details and high-end features will probably take 5 or 6 months to build.
Note that the design phase, price proposal stage, and time
required to obtain building permits may take 5 to 8 weeks or more depending on
the complexity of the project.
